Why GOA plan fails most of the time 😂

 It's night 9pm you make a WhatsApp group call with your besties and suddenly due to boredom and monotonous work or college life, you suddenly plan a holiday trip! where does your mind go? as soon as you close your eyes and think of someplace as a bachelor, as a single who is ready to mingle, as a committed guy who needs a break from his girlfriend your mind takes you to a peaceful beachside place with pubs, music, culturally shocking people who have no limits, no office calls, no assignments, and only colorful entertainment to always make you feel high... GOA!!!!!

To be frank what comes as a dream always stays as a dream when it comes to a trip to GOA, right? 😂😆😅

I too am a victim of a canceled GOA trip 😅

My friends and I started to plan every year in the month of September for a memorable new year trip to Goa where we discuss for days and months together how we're gonna travel, where we are gonna stay, things to see there, dress to buy for the trip, Instagram story and post for the trip but we end up celebrating New year at home and not even at a pub in Chennai due to couples only rules and too much entry fee for STAG!

Reasons why most of the Goa trips do not happen

1. TRIP TO GOA IS EXPENSIVE

Yes, it is expensive as flights, hotels, and parties cost you a lot unless you are a celebrity, doctor, or top-level corporate executive things are not going to be affordable for you and you will feel guilty to ask your parents for a huge amount of money and your friends too will have the same financial constraints.


2. HIGH ON DEMAND

Goa is a place that is known for high demand as tourists rush from various countries to enjoy the beach, party, and liquor with their loved ones so one has to plan in advance for a goa trip which is not possible for most of us due to changes in work.

3. THAT ONE INTROVERTED GUY WHO ALWAYS CANCELS THE PLAN AT THE LAST MOMENT

There will always be that one introverted guy who has some or the other reason to cancel the plan at the last moment for his own personal mood swings at the last moment which really makes the whole gang upset and frustrated.

4. GOA IS FARAWAY

Goa is really far away unless you are a person who is from Mumbai, most South Indians especially people of Chennai find it difficult to go to GOA as there is no direct train or bus and it takes a minimum of a day and a half to reach there by road which is hectic and by the time you reach there you will feel numbness in your back due to a very long ride.


5. YOU HAVE OTHER OPTIONS


Your gang will come to the conclusion that instead of spending too much money on GOA you can have a fantastic trip to poor man's GOA AKA PONDY(I LOVE PONDY) at a much lower budget without any long travel hindrances and that is finally where you will end up going to mostly or ECR if your budget is too low.

 I realize that I am always on my phone expecting texts or calls from WhatsApp, instagram, and from other apps. Whenever I hear the sound of a notification I get excited to be disappointed by some random notification sent by either zomato, swiggy, dunzo,etc.... Most of us can stay on our mobile phones watching content for hours together but we can't meditate for 5 mins each day, read a book for half an hour without a break, or converse with someone without checking our phones.
