Life lessons from RAJINIKANTH'S BABA MOVIE (2002)

Lessons are not only thought by books and teachers it can also be shown to us in the form of movies or series which has a lasting impact, and such movie was Baba(2002) which got re-released in 2022.
The movie was a big flop in Rajinikanth's career as he tried something out of the box type movie which included a combo of spirituality and politics, this movie was written by Rajinikanth and directed by SureshKrishna after he read the book autobiography of a yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda  it made him feel the presence of Sri Guru Mahavatar Babaji the greatest master yogi who was born 2000 years back and still lives in the Himalayas,  Rajinikanth was able to feel BABAJI everywhere within and outside himself and this feeling gave him a great intuition about spirituality, as a result, a determined Rajinikanth came up with BABA and released it which was not well received by his fans, but I would rate it as one of the best movies that teach us life lessons, this is based on the spiritual elements of the movie, let me tell you how.

1.ELLAM MAYA ELLAM CHAYA:-

Ellam maya ellam chaya (all are illusions, all are shadows) which the hero tells in the movie often reminds us that all in this world including our life span is limited and we should not be too greedy for love, money, and power as everything is an illusion and enjoy our lives by doing our duties without expecting much.

2.  LIVE LIKE A LOTUS FLOWER

In the song MAYA MAYA,  Baba(Rajinikanth) tells us that we must live like a lotus flower that is in water by repelling it, the same way we must also make our presence felt with a sense of detachment (to situations, people, and circumstances).

3. WE SHOULD FIGHT OUR OWN BATTLES

In one particular dialogue where the protagonist tells his uncle that  God is not present as he is not able to see one and many people are suffering from poverty, death, and greed by concluding that we are God and we have to take care of our own lives gives goosebumps to many people.

4. BABAS DIALOGUE ON LOVE AND MARRIAGE

In one particular scene where Baba's girlfriend rejects to marry him as he is poor, he thinks of how love and marriage work, he asks himself whether the loves charm would remain till the end or is temporary and how unfair it would be for him to work hard for the wellness of his wife and children who will finally send him to death bed without even thanking him for his service which really gives us different perspectives.

5. THE TRANSFORMATION OF BABA

The life of the protagonist from an atheist to a theist shows that one must believe in himself as well as in God in order to change one's life into a positive and successful one as God will guide us and he is watching and blessing us all the time.

The BABA Theme music was also a divine one as we all can feel the calmness as soon we hear it ,  special thanks to A.R.RAHMAN for his fantastic music in the
BABA movie as all the song lyrics has some spiritual meaning.
