Too much of screen time!

I realize that I am always on my phone expecting texts or calls from WhatsApp, instagram, and from other apps. Whenever I hear the sound of a notification I get excited to be disappointed by some random notification sent by either zomato, swiggy, dunzo,etc....

Most of us can stay on our mobile phones watching content for hours together but we can't meditate for 5 mins each day, read a book for half an hour without a break, or converse with someone without checking our phones. WHY?

I believe that we are becoming more and more restless day by day due to the influence of social media and other tech tools which we use on day to day basis, we want our lives to be super fast like movies and moments like Instagram reels so fast that we don't give a damn about what is happening and just keep scrolling next again and again till we realize that we have not paid attention to anything and life is clueless now with guilt overloaded in our mind.

Social media is addictive, movies are addictive, series are addictive, and shopping online is addictive but we need to control the amount of time spent on these, we should spend some time outside our electronic gadgets for our own good such as going to the gym, playing outdoor games, spending time with friends and family, and going on an adventure.

The top 5% of income earners in any industry always focus on keeping themselves mentally and physically fit, they don't spend most of their time on their smartphones, and they develop good habits such as going for a jog, writing a diary, reading books, and much more.

Don't be the friend who keeps looking at their screen when you are out for lunch with your gang, be the one who entertains the whole crowd with an engaging conversation if not at least be the one who listens and asks questions.
