"The Cost of Haste : Why Rushing Often Backfires"

In this digital era, we are habituated these days to get things fast due to the smartphones in our hands, we want food we swiggy it, we want snacks we zepto it, we want a bag we buy it on Amazon, we want to clean our homes we book via urban clap, we want bus tickets we book on red bus and the list goes on. Thanks to the power of technology we can get these things or services within a few minutes, but that doesn't mean that the nature of human beings has changed or is it????

We human beings need to build ourselves step by step right from our knowledge, skills, career, body and of course our relationships, this reminds us all that

“Rome wasn't built in a day”.

We are part of nature and nature has something called a process and it can't be rushed how hard you try, Let us look at this through a kutty story......

Mr.DAS was a sincere man who was consistent with his work, he used to wake up early in the morning do his meditation, brush his teeth, read the newspaper, take a bath eat breakfast go to his office on time, do his work and leave on time, go to the gym then back to home, reads a book and sleeps on time, during weekends he meets few friends and goes for a run and watches movies ….. Looks perfect isn’t it???? But hell no, Das was not the best employee, to be frank, he was average and wasn’t paid well, he didn’t have a good muscular physique, he didn’t have good personal hygiene, he didn’t much of friends, he was a loner, his knowledge was half baked and his mindset was poor and of course, he felt miserable of himself. Do you know why???????........ let’s see why Das has a miserable life even though he follows a consistent and decent schedule.

The reason behind this is Das rushed on to everything, he was not given the right amount of time to be in the present, focus, enjoy, and do all his work, he wanted to do all of this just for the sake of doing and he didn’t enjoy any of it, he was always in a hurry, he used to jump to his next task even though the work was not done properly, he used to gulp his lunch, do minimal work at the job just for the sake of completing, never gave his time for other people and was always in a hurry which made him stressed out, overthink and end up being an average guy despite doing all his work on schedule and was never recognized in both his personal and professional life and he died all alone by heart-attack at his dull apartment.

So…… what is our learning…… Stay calm, breathe, relax, and do one work at a time enjoy doing what you do and try to give your best without overthinking and rushing because you can control only what you can do and nothing else, you can’t control other people, you can’t control the nature, you can’t control anything external.

That is me on top of a hill during sunset enjoying the beauty of nature..... thanks to my amazing friends for organizing an awesome trip... we had a great time without rushing.... we all enjoyed the present and of course, this is an amazing picture
💓

Build everything you want in your life slowly and steadily without rushing… that is the right process to succeed.
