Worrying is a waste of time

 A few years back I started playing cricket again after a bike accident, I gained a lot of weight, my body lost the reflexes that I used to have and on top of that, I felt like shit when I looked in the mirror.... I was always worrying about how I gonna overcome this, what if this happens ??? what if that happens ?? and things like that.... I used to feel awful every day... I started hating everything about my life... but anyways I went to the nets sessions, I used to feel low because even the junior players used to comment on how bad my physique was or my struggling game was, when I went to bat in matches I was sledged a lot by the opponents with words one cant imagine and their reactions really pissed me off ..... then I got really frustrated and decided that I needed to take a break for a week and went window shopping alone to the nearby mall to find some inspiration... to my surprise I saw few books on stoicism which talks about having the ability to endure pain or hardship wit...

  Are We Living for Ourselves or for Others? Have you ever noticed that no matter what you do......wearing your favourite colour shirt or capturing a picture of nature.......someone always has a comment to make?  It happens everywhere at school, college, the gym, and the workplace. And, of course, our relatives and neighbours are often the first to judge. People are naturally judgmental. It’s part of human nature. Because of this, many of us work hard to present ourselves in a way that gains social approval. We buy things not just for personal happiness but to shape the way others perceive us. But is this really necessary? Does loving someone solely for their social status bring real happiness? Is it worth paying EMIs for cars, bikes, or properties just to receive validation from others? Are we truly living the life we want, or are we just trying to fit into an image society has created for us? Instead, we should focus on what genuinely brings us joy. We must love people ...
